Warner Bros., which has been known to announce something unexpected smack in the middle of NATPE, has signed reality star Bethenny Frankel as host of a daily talk show. Cleared on the Fox-Owned stations and airing as a six-week preview, Bethenny will be available on select Fox-owned stations this summer. Described as an honest, informative and entertaining destination, the daily hour will feature Bethenny’s outspoken take on everything from pop culture and current events to relationships, beauty, fitness and lifestyle segments.
“A year ago we determined there was a need in the marketplace for a show that provided daytime women the opportunity to hang out with someone who understood their needs, desires and aspirations… a girlfriend,” said Ken Werner, President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. “The research is clear that Bethenny is that person. Fox shared our vision and we have partnered with them to demonstrate to the rest of the country how compelling such a show can be.”
Frankel, a frequent guest on Ellen, will return for a new season of Bethenny Ever After on Bravo in February. Just two weeks ago she appeared at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour for a Bravo session, but was mum on this new talk show.

Bethanny Frankel talker will only get test run and that will be the end of it just my opinion. Too much talk on TV.
The four upcoming talkers this fall hosted by Katie Couric, Steve Harvey, Ricki Lake and Jeff Probst certainly have different credentials than Bethenny.
We’ve got enough talking trash on during the day, we don’t need the worst of the bunch polluting it even more.
