OVERALL RESULTS DO NOT IMPRESS, HOWEVER

It was a Friday of split low-rated leadership, with CBS first overall in total viewers and ABC and CBS tied for No. 1 among adults 18-49 (according to the fast affiliate results from Nielsen). Drama Blue Bloods on the Eye net was most-watched for the evening, with 11.18 million viewers at 10 p.m. But competing ABC 20/20 on ABC topped the time period among adults 18-49, with a 1.7 rating/ 5 share.

Earlier in the evening, ABC sitcoms Last Man Standing and Malibu Country, which were each picked-up for five additional episodes, remain compatible in the 8 p.m. hour. Competing returnee Undercover Boss on CBS won the time period overall, with 8.83 million viewers and a 1.8/ 6 in the demo. And Nikita on The CW perked up a bit in its new time period, but it still finished a distant last.

Elsewhere, UCLA at Stanford on the Pac-12 College Championship on Fox could not compete. An encore of relocated Shark Tank on ABC still won the 9 p.m. hour among adults 18-49, with a 1.6/ 5. A repeat of Arrow filled the 9 p.m. hour on The CW. And competing Grimm on NBC was also an encore. First at 9 p.m. in total viewers was veteran CSI: NY on CBS at 9.82 million.
