TOP 30 RANKINGS – WEEK OF DECEMBER 17

Red-hot The Big Bang Theory from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution topped the syndication (first-run and off-network) rating charts for the week of December 17 (based on AA – average audience – household ratings from Nielsen). But another highlight of note was Live with Kelly & Michael overrating usual leader Dr. Phil from CBS as the No. 1 option in syndicated talk. Live built by eight percent from one week earlier, tying its highest rating of the season (when Michael Strahan was revealed as Kelly Ripa’s new co-host). Ellen from Warner Bros. finished first in the genre in both total viewers (3.67 million) and women 25-54 (1.8 rating).

In freshman syndicated talk, Katie from Disney-ABC remained the No. 1 option with a 1.8 in households (no change from one week earlier), followed by Steve Harvey (NBCUniversal: 1.4, no change), Ricki Lake (Twentieth: 0.7, +17 percent), Jeff Probst (CBS: 0.7, no change) and Trisha (NBCU: 0.5, no change).
