Not impressive rerun numbers for CBS, but still good.

I guess everyone was watching football. A terrible night overall for network TV.

Rock Center fell to a .6 at 10:30? Damn that’s bad.

Not bad for Castle against BCS Championship.

If I were CBS, for 2012-2013 I’d do this:
Mon (2 hour comedy block):
How I Met Your Mother
2 Broke Girls (Give it time to grow before moving it and relying on it to break-out at 9, plus it seems to have helped give How I Met Your Mother new life.)
Two and a Half Men (Keep it there for one more season.)
NEW 9:30 COMEDY

Thurs (1 hour comedy block):
Big Bang
Mike and Molly (ROE doesn’t work and never will be anything other than ‘ok-ish’. Pair M&M up with another Chuck Lorre show and it should offer better stability to the hour.)

THEN, for 2013-2014, I’d do this:
Mon (2 hour comedy block):
How I Met Your Mother
NEW 8:30 COMEDY
2 Broke Girls (let it take over from TAAHM and hopefully break-out in this slot.)
NEW 9:30 COMEDY

Thurs (2 hour comedy block, ‘Chuck Lorre night’):
Two and a Half Men (will likely be losing steam by then, but should be able to be a solid anchor)
COMEDY FROM PREVIOUS SEASON
Big Bang
Mike and Molly

From ABC

Featuring The Bachelor and Castle, ABC led the network pack on Monday, beating runner-up CBS by 1.1 million viewers and by 5% in Adults 18-49.

· ABC marked its most-watched Monday since November – since 11/21/11.

ABC’s The Bachelor ran a strong #2 against regular competition from 8-10pm with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, while finishing #1 among all key Women demographics (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). In addition, The Bachelor beat out its original unscripted competition on NBC (Who’s Still Standing?/Fear Factor) during the 2-hour time period, leading by 1.4 million viewers and by 16% in Adults 18-49. The ABC unscripted show qualified as Monday’s #1 TV series across the Women demos.
Building on its lead-in, ABC’s Castle finished as the #1 regular program during the 10 o’clock hour among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 to stand as Monday’s most-watched TV series overall. In the hour, the ABC drama essentially tripled the delivery of NBC’s Rock Center With Brian Williams in viewers (+216%) and young adults (+188%).

· On its first original in 5 weeks (on 12/5/11), Castle jumped by double-digits over its last first-run telecast with Total Viewers (+21%) and Adults 18-49 (+15%).

· Castle rose over its performance on the same night last year by 8% with viewers and by 10% with young adults.

I agree with this schedule. Many people think that 2 Broke Girls should go on Thursdays, but I think it should be saved for the Mondays anchor place at 9pm. Mondays are working perfect, but HIMYM and TaaHM are old shows and it’s question of time when they are going to be ended.

Bones was not on my set last night, don’t you mean House instead of Bones at 8 and 9 pm?

It’ll be interesting to see how the college football game did since I think it had some impact on network ratings.

I’m very suprised Fear Factor is doing better than The Bachelor in the demos. Maybe people are finally getting tired of The Bachelor.

Rock Center is just a disaster. I think we know where Awake is going to air.
