From Deadline:

EXCLUSIVE: It’s been three months since ABC aired the last episode of Pan Am and almost two weeks since the network officially canceled the freshman series. But the 1960s drama is not dead, at least not yet. As I hinted in my story from two weeks ago, Pan Am producer Sony Pictures TV has been exploring a play on cable or other platforms. I have now learned that the studio has had conversations with Amazon about potentially picking up the show. (Amazon already carries Pan Am‘s first season.) Like its fellow streaming brethren, Hulu and Netflix, Amazon, along with Microsoft’s XBox, has been looking to enter the original programming space.

American Idol (4.4) adjusted up 2 tenths, DWTS, and AGT adjusted up a tenth each to a 3.3, and Glee (2.9) adjusted down a tenth.

Glee is so done next season. Even with Idol it can’t do it anymore. Will probably go down again even with the X-Factor with it. Never seen a show collapse that fast before. If that show goes down and if Bones continues to low rate, say goodbye 18-49 Crown FOX because Idol can’t always do it!

See this is what I can’t stand — the reason that dancing is down is because it had increased competition from the voice all season long and it still kept the demo away, but it held strong given it’s competition — and it’s 3.6 in the 10:30p hour shows there is still interest in the show.

I too wish that it was Katherine that won, i’m very happy that she made it number 2 — but if it wasn’t katherine, I wish it was william — Donald’s freestyle, although I wouldn’t classify it as one of the best the show has ever seen, was somewhat better than katherine’s but I still would have loved to see Katherine and Mark win. But glad to see that Donald, a true fan of the show from season one — got his own mirrorball trophy.

What a depressing glee season finale, but I guess really that is kind of like high school. I don’t see why all of you are ready to say it’s dropped so fast — 3.0 is still pretty good, smash is lucky to get a 2.0. I did expect it to do better after Idol but it did have to face DWTS and AGT.

Not surprised at all. “Pan Am” has been a very strong seller internationally, so of course they’d want to try and find other options before letting it go entirely.

Glee had mid 4′s and 5′s in the demo last season and I think the finale had a 4.6. This season has been mid 2′s rare 3′s. And this is just with three seasons.

CBS is already guranteed to win the A18-49 crown next season thanks to football. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fox even goes below a 3 for its season average next season.

I really can’t see this even being a close race between FOX and CBS. CBS has strong shows virtually every night and the Super Bowl, and FOX basically has two shows in American Idol and X Factor that do well but are in a declining genre, and are almost certain to dip more next season. CBS should win next season 18-49 crown comfortably.
