I’m sorta not surprised at the Ringer number- but have hopes it will improve.

Based on the stuff going on since the last show- BB is probably Rachel’s to lose tonight if she’s in the final vote. (those who have read the information the past few days know the current situation- I won’t repeat it here.) Porsche still has an outside shot if she can get there- and if Adam gets there, it won’t matter who he’s against- he won’t win (which would be a first in USBB- all other times it’s been a male/female final 2 the man has won). Still wonder how they get everything into 90 minutes though…

If Rachel gets in the final 2, she automatically gets Brendon, Jordan and Jeff’s votes. Don;t you think some of the others will realize she played the best game? Adam floated the whole time, as did Porsche for the first 2/3.

As expected, of course, the news special skewed older. At 8 p.m., Wipeout on ABC ranked first in the hour in adults 18-49 (1.8/ 6) and second in total viewers (5.77 million).

BIG BALLS!!

I found it very hard to hear what Jackie was saying.

I noticed that two, but those tapes are 47 years old. I bet there was a lot of technical clean-up on the tapes just to make them that good.

DVD Sales are down massively from previous years. GG and 90210 didn’t even manage US sales of 16,000 units (90210 has always done poorly), GG (used to sell 60,000 to 50,000 for its first week). International sales and home market we never, ever see data for.

Not a bad start for Ringer. Not great either. Its just ok. Im sure the CW is disappointed.

Wipeout averaged a 2.0 and over 6 million viewers according to TVBTN. I think you only put the 8:00 ratings in instead of combining both 8:00 & 8:30.

I will fix that Chris, thanks.

If Rachel gets in the final 2, she automatically gets Brendon, Jordan and Jeff’s votes. Don;t you think some of the others will realize she played the best game? Adam floated the whole time, as did Porsche for the first 2/3.

Well I do make a case for Porsche- wasn’t her fault she was a non-factor the first few weeks because of the Golden Key twist which kept her from playing in competitions- she’s won multiple “win or go home” competitions too- particularly the last POV. So if she wins the last HOH, it would be a strong case for her to win. Adam has no shot- he might have friends on the jury but they won’t respect his game.

If the jury votes on gameplay- Rachel should win (but it Porsche wins the last HOH it could be close). But if the jury votes emotionally, Rachel might not. Danielle and Shelly are the key votes here (Kaila is probably a lost cause for Rachel after her goodbye message). Danielle said she would vote on gameplay- but is she really?
And Shelly had problems with Rachel too- but she could try and regain Jordan’s friendship with a vote for Rachel to win. There are so many variables depending on who wins HOH and who they decide to take to the final vote.

The only thing I’m sure of tonight? Jordan wins the $25,000 audience vote. (if she doesn’t, I’ll be shocked- I don’t know who else could except perhaps Jeff).

Who’d vote for Rachel of the remaining players? Daniele? She hates Rachel. Shelly? She really hates Rachel. Kalia? Hates Rachel and was evicted by her. Remember that Rachel’s goodbye messages to the three previous HG’s were scorch-Earth scathing, so she’s already burned her bridges with these three. And, if Rachel chooses either Porsche/Adam, the other goes to jury sour that he/she was just cut off from at least $50K. I can see Adam voting for Rachel on gameplay principle, but he’s also tight with Porsche.

Basically I don’t see how most of the Jury members (i.e. the noobs) get over their Rachel antipathy and don’t hand over the $500K to either Porsche or Adam, even if the latter did little other than float to get to F2 (if he even gets that far). As to how they can squeeze the show into 90 min., there are production shortcuts (like having the non-Jury HG’s already seated and introduced as a group instead of individual entrances) that will shave enough time to get it to work, but just barely. Personally it was one of the most fun and enjoyable “BB” seasons I’ve seen, but I’ve only been watching since “BB11″ a couple of years back. ;)

Agree with weaklink75, either Jeff or Jordan will probably get America’s Player votes and an extra $25K. If Jeff wins it he will have pocketed $40K ($15K from “BB” competitions and $25K for AP), almost as much as what the 2nd place winner will get. 8O

I think the Jackie Kennedy special did really well considering it was up against part 1 of the AGT finale and (a repeat) of NCIS. The numbers went up each half hour. That’s pretty good for a show centered around 2 hours of difficult-to-understand tape recordings!
