The 1.6 of Grimm is the highest result of the night. And it’s not a pemierè, it’s the fourth episode of season two. The 1.5 of Blue Blood and the poor 1.3 of CSI NY is for a PREMIERè a lot down from last year numbers.
If grimm is not a winner, i really don’t understand how networks works
I have to disagree a bit with Marc and say that the whole CBS Friday lineup is a disaster. Made In Jersey came in completely DOA at a 1.1 demo. It’s possible that it might be pulled this week. If not, it isn’t going to last to November. This show just made it to the top of the list of first cancelled series. CSI: NY and Blue Bloods are both down from their ratings last year.
Grimm did very well. Dateline got a bit of a boost, but it’s because of the stronger lead in. NBC needs a stronger show at 10 PM.
Shark Tank did well and Last Resort was a waste. Primetime: What Would You Do? would have been a better option.
Fringe wasn’t competitive as expected and CW was low.
You are right and I am changing Made in Jersey to a “loser.”

Featuring Shark Tank, a rebroadcast of the pilot for Last Resort from Thursday and 20/20, ABC tied CBS all-original Friday premiere line up (CSI: NY/Made in Jersey/Blue Bloods) in Adults 18-49, while beating NBC with the season premiere of Grimm and Dateline by 8% and Fox with the premiere of Fringe by 18%.
ABC’s Shark Tank ranked #1 in the 8 o’clock hour for the 3rd week in a row among Adults 18-49, beating the season premiere of CBS’ CSI: NY by 15%.
Gaining additional exposure one night after its series debut, a repeat of the pilot episode for Last Resort beat out Fox’s season premiere of Fringe by 25% in viewers. In addition among Adults 18-49, the replay ABC freshman drama equaled the series debut of CBS Made in Jersey and also tied the opener of Fox’s Fringe in the key young adult sales demo.
Building on its lead-in during the 10 o’clock hour, ABC’s 20/20 jumped up to defeat NBC’s Dateline by 8% in Adults 18-49. Anchored by Chris Cuomo, ABC’s 20/20’s “Classroom Confidential” exposed extra-curricular behavior happening between the classroom walls, from pranks to the teachers who take their guidance too far. The hour also featured Deborah Roberts’ exclusive interview with Brittni Colleps, a Fort Worth, TX teacher and mother of three young kids who is currently serving a five-year jail term for inappropriate behavior with five of her students.
· ABC’s 20/20 continued to trend ahead of last year, up across the board from the same night a year ago: Total Viewers (+5%), AD18-49 (+17%) and AD25-54 (+13%).

Next week’s ratings will be interesting for CBS. They still have a pretty stable line-up that could be even stronger with a little tweaking. I know that they usually like to maintain a fairly stable schedule, but I think they should be a little quicker on the trigger this season. Partners and MIJ need to go ASAP, and I also think they should try to do something on Monday if H50 doesn’t rebound. If it doesn’t, they need to stop wasting The Mentalist on Sunday and move it to Monday. Then, if Vegas can maintain its numbers, H50 can move to Friday at 9:00, but if Vegas drops, H50 can go after the NCIS’s and Vegas can move to Friday. As for Sunday at 10:00, CBS should just air 48 Hours or drama repeats there until the NFL season when they can use the Super Bowl and Grammys to promote a new Sunday line-up for the last half of the season.
