NBC & FOX Tie For A18-49 Dominance in Week 1 of 2012-13; CBS Wins P2+ Count
Based on four nights of finals and three nights of prelims, FOX and NBC are tied for first in A18-49s after the first week of the 2012-13 regular season:
Once Upon A Time is the winner for ABC’s lineup. Revenge did OK but the drop at the half is concerning. Moving to Sundays was not a good idea for this show. 666 Park Avenue came in low and again, the drop at the half is concerning. Sundays is basically a one show lineup for ABC and it’s at 8 PM.
CBS Sundays are struggling. The Good Wife came in low, as expected. Under a 2.0 for the premiere is not a good demo, regardless of the upper income skew. The Amazing Race and The Mentalist were both lackluster in their debuts.
FOX faces similar challenges as CBS. The Simpsons is the bright spot on this lineup. Family Guy in particular was down from its season premiere last year.
Great for Revenge. Sunday at 9:00 is a tougher timeslot than Wednesdays at 10:00. Sure it has a great lead-in but a lot of Once Upon a Time viewers have very conservative taste.
wlcmzapata-texas are you out of your mind? Revenge had its sedcond best ratings ever. it was a good move. nashville will do well Wed at 10p, so they filled both slots to good ratings/shows.
