IHeartradio Music Festival is a loser? I’m surprised how well it actually did for the CW. When is the last time they cracked a 1.0 demo in any half hour? The season finale of The Vampire Diaries? Kudos to them for finding something that was able to attract somewhat of an audience. EDIT: I now see it was pre-empted in Chicago, so it’s not as great as I originally thought.
I hope CBS learned their lesson. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. These numbers are boarding on awful for a CBS Monday night. A 2.6 for CBS originals on a Monday is awful. They did that for repeats in the past. Also, how about all CBS sitcoms below 9 million viewers. When have we seen that before ?
Partners needs to go immediately, and 2BG is not a 9:00 anchor. A 3.4 for a 9:00 CBS anchor is really bad. Yes, it would be a good number for most network sitcoms, but not for a CBS 9:00 anchor. Also, remember CBS sitcoms do their best mostly in the fall. By spring these shows will all be in the 2′s. CBS has some serious tinkering to do.
ABC has completely killed Dancing with the Stars due to an all stars season. The Voice is now beating it in both demos and viewers. Maybe this will finally convince networks that all stars seasons aren’t a good idea.
Revolution is likely to get the renewal this week. Even with the drop, it’s doing very well. The Voice grew this week, which is a positive.
CBS is a mess. The whole night is struggling and Partners will be pulled soon.
FOX did OK with Bones but I can’t imagine that The Mob Doctor airs another episode. A 1.0 demo is way too low.
CW was inflated with baseball. Those ratings will drop, perhaps significantly.
I laughed harder during last nights episode of Mike and Molly then I’ve laughed at any comedy in quite some time. This is one of the funniest comedies; it has a terrific main cast, and an awesome supporting cast. Why it’s never been a bigger hit, especially on CBS, I’ll never quite know.

Well… goodbye Hawaii Five-0
It all depends on how Vegas does. I’m guessing that it drops this week, close to the 2.0 demo mark. If that’s the case, it’ll be moved soon from Tuesdays. I don’t think CBS will mess with both Hawaii 5-0 and Vegas at the same time and Vegas would be the bigger concern.

Marc, I appeal to you to please upgrade the status of ‘IHeartradio Music Festival’ from Loser to Winner. That is the highest A18-49 on The CW going back to last season, and it was a well put together special, kind of reminding me of MyNetworkTV’s exceptional ‘Control Room Presents…’ limited series of unplugged concert specials.
Time to order up another special for an upcoming Sweep, Mr. Pedowitz.
There was a lot of hearting for The CW last night, which scored its best A18-49 rating since last season.
