The full-season renewals are pretty bad this year as Ben & Kate, Mindy Project, and New Normal are all struggling badly and Go On is starting to slip too. Partners is outperforming all of these programs except probably Go On in the demo.
Parenthood is actually first in the demo with smaller help than Vegas and PP.
CBS wins Tues in 2+ and A25-54, strong second in A18-49 (-0.1)
NCIS top show of night in 2+ (18.1m)
NCIS: LA wins time period in 2+ (15.1m, up from last week), A18-49 (2.9) and A25-54 (4.0)
Vegas maintains last week’s 2.0 A18-49 rating, wins time period in 2+ (11.78m), A18-49 (2.0, tie) and A25-54 (2.8)
CW crashed last night. A 0.4 for Hart Of Dixie isn’t good at all. I’m not sure why CW thought that this was a strong enough show to lead off a night. Emily Owens MD won’t likely do any better.
NBC rebounded with The Voice back in originals. But again, The New Normal is the weakest spot in the lineup as Parenthood grew out of it.
Private Practice’s 1.4 at 10:30 PM is very concerning. Dancing with the Stars isn’t doing that well but Apartment 23/Happy Endings won’t likely do better. ABC might as well keep this schedule and try again mid-season.
FOX shouldn’t have renewed either comedy. Ben and Kate fell lower to a 1.5, New Girl fell 0.1, and the rest is under a 2.0. By the time The Goodwin Games debuts, it’s going to have a tough time finding any traction.
CBS looks low across the board. Vegas appears to have steadied this week at a 2.0, but that’s still lower than what CBS probably wants in that timeslot.
