NBC had a great night again. The Voice is down nearly 6 tenths from last week but their presidential debate coverage always wins by a big margin to ABC.
Other than that, it was a boring night.
Marc, how come the preliminary ratings come out at different times on different days? Like today you posted them 15 minutes earlier then yesterday and some days, they come out very late.
I normally get the overnights by about 8:15 a.m., but they were late yesterday. These fast affiliate numbers normally come in shortly after 11 a.m.

The Voice did great for 8pm. Great repeat numbers by TBBT and 2BG.
As great as The Voice did at 8 PM, it’s a shame that the 9 PM hour was pre-empted for debate coverage, as if it followed the typical ratings pattern, The Voice would have gone over a 5.0 at 9 PM and close to a 5.5 at 9:30. NBC actually lost demos airing the debate coverage. The steal completely reversed the ratings slump The Voice had last year in the battle rounds.

If a repeat of 2 Broke Girls can pull a 2.1 demo at 830, what is the point of keeping new episodes of Partners at 830 when you get the same result? I think this is enough evidence to just pull the show and plug in repeats of 2 Broke Girls/The Big Bang Theory.

The 8:30 repeat numbers would actually be much higher with new episodes around it. With a new HIMYM giving a good lead in at 8:00 and a new 2BG at 9:00 a BBT repeat would easily be over a 3.0 at 8:30. CBS is letting their pride get in the way. They do not want to cancel half of their new shows this early. They will continue to let Partners kill the night for them.
