Bad numbers for Happy Endings and Apt 23, but they were expected. They are just going to continue falling from here.
DWTS is up from last week which is good.
The Voice is down, and should keep falling when the live shows begin.
Go On getting a 2.5 is good. Its only 0.2 below New Girl which happens to be one of the most expensive shows to advertise on. Still doesn’t make sense!
NCIS seems way down this year. Last year it was managing high 3′s. Perhaps, have quite a few of its viewers turned 50 this year?
Vegas did bad. CBS shouldn’t have picked it up so fast.
Ah. Well, it’s nice to see Parenthood grow from its lead in then!!

Actually, The New Normal dipped to a 1.8/ 4 in the demo. My mistake. And Vegas on CBS is becoming a real problem.

Emily Owens is done.
DAMN, Vegas really fell hard.
The New Normal held all of its demo lead in…very nice.
Parenthood continues to do solid. Too bad its off until November 13th.
It looks like NBC edged out the first battle of The Great Tuesday Comedy War of 2012, but it is far from concluded.
Of course it won’t stop the Networks from spinning like a top. I just heard weatherman Sam Champion on GMA call Apt. 23 “The hottest show on TV today. You know it.” <Big Eyeroll!>
Besides DWTS being up, New Girl holding up well for FOX, and The Voice strong for NBC, what a horrible night. Both Happy Endings and Apartment 23 under a 2.0 demo for their season premieres. Just awful. ABC was foolish to think this comedy block would actually work.
Happy Endings/Apt 23 did a tad better than I expected, and were quite compatible… and HE’s retention from DWTS is actually quite respectable (79% from the last half hour). Still… I expect these shows to drop in the coming weeks, and despite the decent retention… those just aren’t great premiere #’s.
