The Following had an okay premiere, and it help lift Bones somewhat. CBS, however, has to be disappointed that H50 fell given the push it gave the show with the airing of a new episode after the AFC championship. In fact H50 was down from its performance three weeks ago. Looks like H50 will be heading towards Friday next season…
Decent start for The Following. FOX better pray it doesn’t go the way of Alcatraz.
CBS comedies still doing solid. Even though I think 2 Broke Girls should be doing better than How I Met Your Mother, a comedy block pulling 3s across the board is still very good. Hawaii 5-0 still underperforming. What a waste of the AFC Championship lead-in.
Good ratings for The Bachelor. Glad Castle is over a 2. It skewed a bit younger.
Deception is 100% dead. Biggest Loser is doing ok. NBC was smart to only schedule it once a year as the show isn’t as strong as it once was.
Still bad for Carrie Diaries even though it only dropped a tenth. 90210 so does not deserve a final season.
The Following did more than okay, especially for FOX. It wasn’t mind blowing or anything, but over 10 million in total viewers is pretty impressive. When is the last time a FOX scripted series got over 10 million? Jan 2012?
NBC had a great autumn portion of the 2012-13 season.
Their winter portion, however… With a very solid “Biggest Loser” as a lead-in, “Deception” had the best chance to succeed of the 3 new NBC shows. But too much of their lead-in is squandered. And with “Do No Harm” on the horizon airing against young hits, “Scandal” and “Elementary”, I predict NBC will go 0-for-3 this midseason.
The spring returns of “The Voice” and “Revolution” can’t come soon enough for them.
