Why does NBC air ANW on Saturday, it could help them fix some holes on their schedule, it could air on Tuesday 8pm and have same numbers as Off Their Rockers, while OTR can move to Thursday 9:30pm.

I believe these episodes are clip shows from season four. Season five isn’t airing until this summer.

It is a clip show. That being said, both American Ninja Warrior and their new reality show Get Out Alive are probably strong enough to air in season. If they do well in the summer, then NBC should think about relocating them.

NBC needs to really find some shows that support some strong lead-ins and protect some hours during the week.

Off Their Rockers is being wasted right now for comedies that will never do anything in the ratings. I think Off Their Rockers could be strong on Thursdays before SVU ensuring that night won’t be a total disaster.

‘ABC Movie of the Week’ did rather nice with a fresh theatrical, the broadcast premiere of DESPICABLE ME, which all in pulled 1.3 A18-49 and 4 million P2+. If only ABC could inject more fresh theatricals into the mix, they might have an A18-49 dominant series for Saturday evenings, but next week, it’s back to 0.6-7 territory with the umpteenth encore showing of one of those HARRY POTTER theatricals.

It also looks like the pared down ‘SNL’ encores are doing rather well at 10 pm for NBC, and I think they may be sticking with them now that the ‘Law & Order: SVU’ encores have been moved to Thursday at 10 pm. I’m not sure how they’re paring them down to an hour, but they seem to be recent editions of ‘SNL’…why doesn’t NBC licence some of the earlier season classic ‘SNL’ episodes instead?

Updated February Sweep After 10 Nights

Rank. Web A18-49 P2+
1. CBS 6.65 22,665,000
2. FOX 1.92 5,808,000
3. ABC 1.64 5,532,000
4. UNI 1.41 3,379,000
5. NBC 1.14 3,842,000
6. CW 0.66 1,620,000 (0.67 A18-34, 0.85 W18-34, 0.50 M18-34)
7. ION 0.28 1,056,000

CBS Television Stations and their affiliates have to be as pleased as punch by the results so far in this February Sweep, with CBS dominating in all measures and on track to winning their first Sweep in A18-49s since 1998.

Those 18-49 numbers are just downright awful for Fox when you consider Idol takes up 3 hours a week. NBC is just embarrassing.

I agree. At this point, FOX is on track for its worst A18-49 February Sweep ever. NBC’s trend might be OK for the July Sweep, but it’s a disaster for February. The Peacock needs to pull up its socks to a 1.5 A18-49 to avoid its worst ever Sweep, but I don’t think they have the series strength to do it. And ABC is also cruising for an all-time low, and is looking to ‘The Academy Awards’ to give it an end of Sweep boost.

At this point of the February Sweep, A18-49 trendicators point to FOX, NBC and ABC all skidding to all-time lows.

Fox, and ABC have awful 18-49 averages. NBC is bad too, but they don’t have their main powerhouse – The Voice, helping them.

SUNDAY 2/10/13 Metered Markets

Household
Rating/Share
CBS 16.4/25
ABC 3.8/ 6
NBC 2.6/ 4
Fox 2.2/ 3

-Percent Change from Year-Ago Evening – Sunday 2/12/12:
Fox: no change, ABC: -10, CBS: -25, NBC: -28

———-

-Winners:
60 Minutes (CBS), The 55th Annual Grammy Awards (CBS)

-Losers:
The Cleveland Show (Fox), Bob’s Burgers (Fox)

———-

-Ratings Breakdown:
It was all about CBS last night, of course. But the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, as predicted, was down considerably year-to-year. The telecast, hosted by LL Cool J, scored an estimated 19.0 rating/29 share in the overnights from 8-11 p.m., which was 25 percent below the 25.2/38 on the year-ago evening. That telecast, which featured a tribute to the sudden passing of Whitney Houston, rose to its second most-watched episode ever with 39.91 million viewers and a 14.1 rating/33 share in the demo (based on the Live Plus Same Day ratings). Compared to the overnights in 2011 (17.9/27 on 2/13/11), however, last night’s telecast was up by six percent. For a complete listing of the winners, click on the following: http://tinyurl.com/av3kydd.

Earlier in the evening on CBS was granddaddy 60 Minutes at a dominant 8.6/14 in the overnights from 7-8 p.m. Tick, tick, tick…the clock will keep running forever on the 44-year old newsmagazine.

ABC was below average, no doubt, with its combination of veteran America’s Funniest Home Videos (#2: 4.2/ 7), Once Upon a Time (#2: 4.6/ 7), Revenge (#2: 4.0/ 6), which has not benefited since moving to Sunday, and reality-driven Revenge For Real (#2t: 2.2/ 4), which was themed The Miami Millionaire last night. NBC, meanwhile, ducked from the Grammys with an encore line-up of Dateline (#3: 4.1/ 7), Betty White’s 2nd Annual 90th Birthday Special (#4; 2.2/ 3) and Saturday Night Live in the ‘80s: Lost and Found (2.1/ 3 from 9-11 p.m.).

Fox capped off the evening with its animated combination of a repeat of Bob’s Burgers (#4: 1.4/ 4), The Cleveland Show (#4: 1.7/ 3), The Simpsons (#3: 2.6/ 4), the regularly scheduled edition of Bob’s Burgers (#4: 2.0/ 3), Family Guy (#3: 2.9/ 4) and American Dad (#3: 2.4/ 4). Opposite The Grammys, Fox also lost noticeable steam.
