And just like that… Nashville, Castle, Revenge and Scandal have been assured renewal…. BOP, like Zero Hour, is most likely gone by the end of the season.
Smash… Not a Smash. Will NBC pull the remaining episodes like they did for Do No Harm?
Tuesdays continue to be horrible minus NCIS, NCIS:LA, The Bachelor, & New Girl.
Both NBC comedies deserve to be cancelled. NBC just needs to air out the episodes and put The Voice to better use. Smash really should be moved to Thursdays and Hannibal to Tuesdays at 10. The timeslot is wide open.
Body of Proof did absolutely terrible but it never deserved to be renewed last year. Dana Delany & Jeri Ryan deserve better.
Body of Proof’s low ratings aren’t a surprise. Didn’t it hit a 1.2 last season before magically recovering? I only watched the first 30 minutes of the season premiere, the show just didn’t feel the same anymore.
But Cougar Town had one of its strongest episodes to date. Hopefully it’ll get the ratings it deserves.
FOX’s Tuesday comedies won last night among Adults 18-34. NEW GIRL, THE MINDY PROJECT and RAISING HOPE were three the highest-rated comedies of the night in Adults 18-49.
· RAISING HOPE: 1.5/5, down -6% from its last original two weeks ago (1.6/5 on 2/5/13)
· NEW GIRL (RS): 1.3/3
· NEW GIRL: 2.2/6, down -15% from its last original two weeks ago (2.6/7 on 2/5/13) but was the highest-rated program of the night in Adults 18-34.
· THE MINDY PROJECT: 1.6/4, down -16% from its last original two weeks ago (1.9/5 on 2/5/13)
