As soon as I saw the first promo spot/trailer, I knew it would fail.
The “Angels” are very bland looking. They didn’t have the excitement that the original girls had.
The fact that they are ex-criminals, yet it is not a darker take on the series, was a big mistake.

exactly….where are special guest stars Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Tanya Roberts or even Shely Hack? Too bad Farah can’t come rescue the Angels. I’d also give CA a shot following DwtS on Tuesday.

I think it would have also helped if in the series premiere there was a connection made to one of the previous Angels.

CHARLIE’S ANGELS is a dead show.
It is just a matter of WHEN it will be cancelled.

I think Charlie’s Angels gets at least next week. Not so much because it went up a tick, but because ABC needs something to go in that slot next week. They have Charlie Brown Halloween show set for Oct. 27 so they will probably let CA run next week and then pull it before the November sweeps. Also don’t forget World Series game # 2 is on next week so most shows will probably tank next Thursday anyway.

They would be better off running encores of LMS and MF at 8pm.

Do you really think that putting two sitcom repeats in an hour where two networks with new sitcom episodes already reside would be a wise idea ? You cannot have three sitcoms on in the same hour especially if one set are repeats. I bet they would put up the same low 1′s as CA did.

you really think a show that everyone knows and is familiar with has a chance to grow into a hit? I mean people were barely interested the first week (whereas other shows like Bionic Woman at least premiered high before plunging)
