To me, Touch seems more like a mini-series than a series. I’m also not sure what audience Touch is going for and fans of 24 are probably not going to be the same fans that are going to watch Touch. The concept is unique though but FOX has a history of unique drama concepts that didn’t find itself so I’m not sure how confident I should be in a show like Touch.

FOX is going to be an interesting network to watch. Unless they decide to renew Terra Nova or Touch/Alcatraz breaks out and establishes themselves, they could have a completely new night and can head out an any direction.

Fox Partnering With Adult Swim Alums to Launch Late-Night Animation Block

20-%20breaking_news%20(19)%20(1)&utm_content=

This is happy :D news for lovers of animation.

Aside from the creative kick coming from the Adult Swim gang, I’m hopeful that this 90-minute latenight slot will become home to encores (and maybe originals) for some of the more deserving FOX short-run toons such as ‘Sit Down, Shut Up’ and ‘Allen Gregory’, but also FOX productions for other nets such as ‘The Goode Family’ and ‘Archer’.

‘Sit Down, Shut Up’, a FOX animation creation that pioneered animation domination on Saturday late-night.

Tebow pulled in a 25.9 overnight, which would make it the best AFC Wildcard overnight since 1988.

The Touch pilot is good (the “Crash” comparison is obvious, but I don’t think you need to look much further than Tim Kring’s own “Heroes” pilot for a structural/tonal parallel). That said, it does seem to rely on an entirely-unsustainable, more cinematic-storytelling style; there’s no way the show will be able to convincingly feature so many different mini-stories in future episodes, and so I really have no idea if my enjoyment of the pilot will translate to any future installments.

Not a good start for ‘The Firm’. NBC better hopes it will stabilize on Thursday.

60 minutes started at 8:17 EST. I believe the game ended just after 8 and then there was a post game wrapup. I guess I thought the Firm would do a little better but can’t say I’m surprised it didn’t. Ouch for Pan Am. Considering the competition the numbers for OUAT don’t look too bad.

I hope that the producers of Pan Am wrote the extra episode as a series finale, becaue it ain’t coming back.

And CBS really wasted the big lead-in. Why they didn’t show special airing of ¡Rob! instead? It should have made better results than premiere of 2 Broke Girls.

There is absolutely no reason to watch The Firm, unless Molly Parker is going to be undressing in every scene, which I tend to doubt.
