Unlike its singing competition counterparts, “American Idol” and “The X Factor”, NBC’s “The Voice” also factors in votes via downloaded songs from Apple’s iTunes.

Beginning with the voting period after last night’s live performances (November 4), a new “iTunes Bonus” will be implemented if any of the artists’ eligible songs are in the top 10 of the iTunes “Top 200 Singles Chart” at the close of the episode’s applicable voting window (from 5 minutes prior to the conclusion of the live performance episode until 11:00 am Eastern the following day). If an artist should achieve such an accomplishment, their iTunes votes that evening will be multiplied by five (5).

Here are how the performances from “The Voice” ranked on the All-Genres chart on iTunes, as of November 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. EST:

8 * Adam James Wolpert “A Case of You”
27 Adam Tessanne Chin “Many Rivers to Cross”
34 Adam Will Champlin “Secrets”
37 Blake Austin Jenckes “She Talks to Angels”
38 Blake Ray Boudreaux “Home”
39 Blake Cole Vosbury “Maggie May”
83 Adam Preston Pohl “Nothin’ on You”
113 Blake Nic Hawk “Blurred Lines”
119 Blake Shelbie Z “Fancy”

Other chart notes:

  • * Because his rendition of Joni Mitchell’s original “A Case of You” reached into the iTunes Top Ten, James Wolpert is the only contestant of the ten (10) who performed on Nov. 4 to have his or her votes (for that song alone) via iTunes downloads multiplied by five (5).
  • Grey “Still Into You” (Adam) was the lone song that failed to reach the iTunes Top 300.
  • On the iTunes Pop chart: James Wolpert “A Case of You” was #3, Tessanne Chin “Many Rivers To Cross” was #15, Will Champlin “Secrets” was #16, Preston Pohl “Nothin’ on You” was #33 and Nic Hawk “Blurred Lines” was #39.
  • On the iTunes Rock chart: Austin Jenckes “She Talks to Angels” was #1, Ray Boudreaux “Home” was #2, and Cole Vosbury “Maggie May” was #3.
  • Shelbie Z. “Fancy” was #21 on the iTunes Country chart and Grey “Still Into You” was #39 on the iTunes Alternative chart.
  • Songs from previous episodes of “The Voice” that were still on the iTunes Top 300 included: Cole Vosbury “Let Her Go” (Blake, #70), Caroline Pennell “The Way I Am” (Cee Lo, #108), James Wolpert “Love Interruption” (Adam, #170), Preston Pohl “Electric Feel” (Adam, #184), Will Champlin “When I Was Your Man” (Adam, #204), Matthew Schuler “Cosmic Love” (Christina, #218), Caroline Pennell “As Long as You Love Me” (Cee Lo, #221), Preston Pohl “No Woman, No Cry” (Adam, #357)
