OBSERVATIONS FROM DOUGLAS PUCCI, THE ULTIMATE TV FAN

The inevitable came to fruition on Big Brother on CBS last night. The coaches officially re-entered the game. For the cynic, such as myself, the show putting the onus on the public as to whether or not to put the coaches back in was an absolute exercise in futility. Last night’s choices for each coach were to either reset the game or have “some” of the previously evicted houseguests return. And only one coach from the four was enough to activate a reset — talk about serving up the game reset on a silver platter! Why should anyone in that house be surprised that Dan and Britney — each with only one team member remaining — decided to forgo being coaches. The current talk in the house of “who pressed reset?” and “why did they?” is asinine, at best.
