NEW REALITY/COMPETITION TO DEBUT IN 2013
Actress and model Stacy Keibler has been named host of upcoming Lifetime reality-competition Supermarket Superstars, which will feature aspiring food product inventors pitching their creations for a chance to have it launched nationally in a major grocery chain. Produced by The Weinstein Company (Project Runway) and Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss), Supermarket Superstars will feature contestants showing their creations to three mentors. After fine-tuning the product, the final concept will be presented to a top supermarket buyer. The winner of each episode will be rewarded with an investment in their product and a chance to return for the season finale.
