JUST UNDER 13-MILLION VIEWERS SAMPLE SITCOM
The Sunday 10:58-11:20 p.m. preview of new NBC sitcom Animal Practice out of The London Olympics Closing Ceremony garnered 12.8 million viewers and a 4.1 rating among adults 18-49, based on the fast official ratings from Nielsen. Retention for Animal Practice out of the 10:30 p.m. portion of The Olympics (Viewers: 27.4 million; A18-49: 8.4) was 47 percent in total viewers and 49 percent in the demo, which was similar to the Go On preview out of The Olympics last Wednesday. Since Animal Practice aired without commercials, it will not be included in the averages for the night, week or season.
Animal Practice officially debuts in its regularly scheduled Wednesday 8 p.m. time period on September 26.
