CBS Drops The Glass House Lawsuit

August 20, 2012 by marcberman in Highlights with 0 Comments

BIG BROTHER RIP-OFF CONCLUDES ON ABC TONIGHT

CBS has walked away from the lawsuit pending on reality/competition The Glass House on ABC, citing that low viewership has “delivered the ultimate justice” on the Big Brother clone. On Friday, the Eye net put out a statement that read: “The viewers have spoken and delivered the ultimate form of justice against The Glass House. As a result, we filed in federal court this morning a voluntary dismissal without prejudice of our claims against ABC.”

CBS will, however, pursue claims against the 19 Glass House production staff previously employed on Big Brother in private arbitration, alleging that it violated a confidentiality agreement by disclosing trade secrets.
