EYE NET DAYTIME TALKER IS BUILDING MOMENTUM
It still trailed The View on ABC by 1.10 million viewers. But based on the Live Plus Same Day ratings from Nielsen for the week of Sept. 24, The Talk on CBS built year-to-year by double-digit percentages including growth of 24 percent in households (1.87 to 2.33 million) and as much as 38 percent in women 18-34 (113,000 to 156,000). Target women 25-54 (630,000) increased by 22 percent.
The View topped the trio of network talkers with 3.43 million viewers (-5 percent), 815,000 women 25-54 (-11) and 612,000 women 18-49 (-15). And The Chew on ABC was on par in total viewers from the year-ago week (2.14 million), but down demographically by as much as 21 percent (381,000).
