THE NETWORK HOPES TO SUCCESSFULLY GO DIVING WITH THE STARS
“Celebrity Splash,” the reality competition series originally from the Netherlands, has been picked up in the United States by ABC. As “Dancing with the Stars” puts celebrities to the test in different dancing styles, “Celebrity Splash” will have them attempt such moves as twists, flips and other aerial maneuvers, as they dive into the water.
ABC’s most recent attempt at a celebrity reality competition did not fare well — the short-lived 2010 effort, “Skating with the Stars.”
