Fox has given a vote of confidence to freshman Tuesday comedies Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project, with an order for six additional episodes of Ben and Kate and the traditional nine for The Mindy Project.

At present, five of the 21 new fall series (including NBC’s Revolution, Go On and The New Normal) have now been renewed for the remainder of the season. On the flipside are Partners and Made in Jersey on CBS, and The Mob Doctor on Fox, which are in a three-way race to become the first new series cancellation of the season.
