JUST UNDER 29 MILLION ESTIMATED VIEWERS FOR THE FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE
ABC inched past NBC in total viewers on this atypical fifth Monday of the new TV season, but dominant NBC’s advantage among adults 18-49 was a considerable 54 percent. The third (and final) Presidential Debate between President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney totaled an approximate 28.68 million viewers and an 8.9 rating/20 share among adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. (with NBC the top pick thanks to The Voice from 8-9 p.m.), according to the fast affiliate results from Nielsen.

Elsewhere, the seventh (and final) match-up between San Francisco and St. Louis on the Major League Baseball National League Championship Series did not impress with an estimated 7.16 million viewers and a 2.1/ 5 in the demo in primetime. And CW dramas 90210 and soon-to-conclude Gossip Girl could not even crack one million viewers.
