More Vegas and Elementary

NINE ADDITIONAL EPISODES ORDERED FOR EACH

CBS has issued full season renewals to new dramas Vegas and Elementary, with a back-end order for nine additional episodes each. “Vegas and Elementary have opened strong, delivering big audiences and winning performances in important time periods,” said Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment. “Each of the shows has rich characters, big stars and a unique visual style that have stood out in the crowd, helping make two of our strongest nights even stronger.”

With Friday drama Made in Jersey the first official cancellation of the season, the last remaining freshman entry on the Eye net is Monday sitcom Partners, which is expected to face the axe in the near future.

In the new series scorecard, eight shows to-date have been issued full season pick-ups: Revolution, Go On and The New Normal on NBC; Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project on Fox; Arrow on The CW; and aforementioned Elementary and Vegas on CBS. And two at present – Made in Jersey on CBS and Animal Practice on NBC – have been officially axed. Stay tuned!
