THE CHEERS DUO HEADS TO TV LAND
Former Cheers co-stars Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman will reunite for upcoming TV Land sitcom pilot Giant Baby. Alley, as previously announced, will play a Broadway star named Madison “Maddie” Banks who finds her life turned upside down when her long-lost son turns up looking to connect after his adopted mother has died. And Perlman has been cast as Maddie’s long-suffering assistant and best friend. Giant Baby is written and executive produced by Marco Pennette and is also executive produced by Kirstie Alley and Jason Weinberg. Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox serve as executive producers for TV Land.
