Unlike its singing competition counterparts, “American Idol” and “The X Factor”, NBC’s “The Voice” also factors in votes via downloaded songs from Apple’s iTunes.

Beginning with the voting period after November 12th’s live performances, a new “iTunes Bonus” will be implemented if any of the artists’ eligible songs are in the top 10 of the iTunes “Top 200 Singles Chart” at the close of the episode’s applicable voting window. If an artist should achieve such an accomplishment, their iTunes votes that evening will be multiplied by ten (10).

Here are how the performances from “The Voice” ranked on the All-Genres chart on iTunes, as of November 20, 2012 at 4:50 a.m. EST (iTunes Pop chart rank also indicated within parentheses):

† Cassadee Pope’s “Over You” will receive ten (10) times the number of votes cast via iTunes downloads

* Melanie Martinez’s “Seven Nation Army” also ranked No. 2 on the iTunes Alternative chart
** Terry McDermott’s “Summer of ’69″ also ranked No. 5 on the iTunes Rock chart
*** Trevin Hunte’s “Scream” also ranked No. 8 on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart
