TOO MANY COMEDIES ARE CANNIBALIZING EACH OTHER
CBS dominated this third Tuesday in November, with a first-place finish in both total viewers and adults 18-49 care of its combination of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and recent entry Vegas. But 10.20 million viewers and a 18 rating/5 share among adults 18-49 for Vegas at 10 p.m., based on the fast affiliate from Nielsen, is below year-ago occupant Unforgettable and the older skew could be a problematic.

Elsewhere, six sitcoms competing in the 9 p.m. hour remains detrimental, with sophomore New Girl on Fox down; lead-out The Mindy Project not worthy of 11 additional episodes; relocated Happy Endings and The B____ in Apartment 23 on ABC losing too much of the Dancing With the Stars lead-in; and The New Normal on NBC a disappointment. Of the six, NBC’s Go On is the top-rated at 6.21 million viewers and a 2.2/ 6 among adults 18-49 at 9 p.m., and that is because of the support from The Voice.

Earlier in the evening, Raising Hope and Ben and Kate on Fox are also under-performing; while The CW’s combination of Hart of Dixie and Emily Owens, M.D. cannot compete.
