Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 from Lionsgate continued to dominate with $43.1 million in U.S. box office. But second-place Skyfall from Sony narrowed the gap at a deficit of just $7.1 million. Third overall was Lincoln from Disney at $25.0 million.
