DOMESTIC BOX OFFICE RESULTS FOR WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER 25

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 from Lionsgate continued to dominate with $43.1 million in U.S. box office. But second-place Skyfall from Sony narrowed the gap at a deficit of just $7.1 million. Third overall was Lincoln from Disney at $25.0 million.

The top-12 domestic weekend box office estimates listed in descending order, per data collected as of Sunday, November 25, 2012 is available as follows [in brackets: percent difference from last weekend's domestic gross, if available, and total domestic gross to-date]:

1. Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 (Lionsgate): $43.1 million [down 69.1 percent; $227.4 million]

2. Skyfall (Sony): $36.0 million [down 13.6 percent; $221.1 million]

3. Lincoln (Disney): $25.0 million [up 22.0 percent; $62.8 million]

4. Rise of the Guardians (Paramount): $24.0 million [$32.3 million]

5. Life of Pi (20th Century Fox): $22.0 million [$30.5 million]

6. Wreck it Ralph (Disney): $16.8 million [down 10.8 percent; $149.3 million]

7. Red Dawn (FilmDistruct): $14.6 million [$21.7 million]

8. Flight (Paramount): $8.6 million [down 4.0 percent; $74.7 million]

9. Silver Linings Playbook (The Weinstein Company): $4.6 million [up 889.5 percent; $6.2 million]

10. Argo (Warner Bros.): $3.9 million [down 4.5 percent; $98.0 million]

11. Taken 2 (20th Century Fox): $1.0 million [down 55.3 percent; $136.5 million]

12. Anna Karenina (Focus Features): $800,000 [up 179.5 percent; $1.5 million]
