SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL LIFTS NBC TO SOLID VICTORY
It was an easy Sunday victory for football-ignited NBC, with the Green Bay Packers versus the New York Giants at an estimated 18.46 million viewers and a 6.7 rating/16 share among adults 18-49 for the primetime portion (according to the fast affiliate results from Nielsen). And this will, no doubt, help lift NBC to another demo victory for the week. Keep in mind, as always, that the results for any live sporting event are approximate.
Elsewhere, a primetime football overrun on Fox was beneficial to veteran The Simpsons, which led the evening among adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating/8 share in the demo at 8 p.m. ABC is reporting growth for competing Once Upon a Time of 11 percent among adults 18-49 (3.0/ 7) versus its most recent telecast, but lead-out Revenge slipped to a 2.2/ 5 in the demo at 9 p.m. And 666 Park Avenue on the alphabet net earned its cancellation stripes with 3.96 million viewers and a 1.2/ 3 among adults 18-49 – a distant third in both categories – at 10 p.m.
CBS had nothing unusual, meanwhile, to report with its combination of 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife and The Mentalist. Click on the following for the fast affiliate results for Sunday, November 25 broken out by network and by program (by half-hour): http://tinyurl.com/cpp2b5d.
