ROCK CENTER WITH BRIAN WILLIAMS SHIFTS TO FRIDAY AT 10 P.M. ET
Upcoming NBC drama Do No Harm, which tells the tale of a highly respected neurosurgeon (Steven Pasquale) who has a dangerous alternate personality, will debut in the Thursday 10 p.m. hour on January 31. On that same evening is the one-hour series-finale of critically acclaimed sitcom 30 Rock from 8-9 p.m.
Current Thursday 10 p.m. occupant 30 Rock Center With Brian Williams, which ranks a distant third in the time period (behind Elementary on CBS and Scandal on ABC), will move into the Friday 10 p.m. hour (out of Dateline) beginning on February 8. Returning sitcom Community and relocated Parks and Recreation, meanwhile, will inherit the Thursday 8 p.m. hour effective on February 7.

NBC is wise to get Rock Center With Brian Williams off the night and go with a scripted drama. It is unlikely, though, that Do No Harm will do all that well because of the lack of the lead-in support. But glad they are doing this.
