Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 from Lionsgate remained the top pick at the U.S. weekend box office, but its advantage this weekend over No. 2 Skyfall from Sony was only $850,000. Tied for the number three spot was Lincoln from Disney and Rise of the Guardians from Paramount with $13.5 million each. Brad Pitt-starrer Killing Them Softly flopped at No. 7 with a paltry $6.8 million.
