Unlike its singing competition counterparts, “American Idol” and “The X Factor”, NBC’s “The Voice” also factors in votes via downloaded songs from Apple’s iTunes.
Beginning with the voting period after November 12th’s live performances, a new “iTunes Bonus” will be implemented if any of the artists’ eligible songs are in the top 10 of the iTunes “Top 200 Singles Chart” at the close of the episode’s applicable voting window. If an artist should achieve such an accomplishment, their iTunes votes that evening will be multiplied by ten (10).
Here are how the performances from “The Voice” ranked on the All-Genres chart on iTunes, as of December 4, 2012 at 12:06 p.m. EST (iTunes Pop chart rank also indicated within parentheses):

Yeah, I remember the comments by Christina now regarding Crazy; she was polite in her insult at least. The song is one of my favorites and I think Melanie ruined it. She’s “different” but not in a way that sells records. I don’t expect she’ll be getting a ton of calls, but I’m sure she’ll get a few. She just doesn’t have the voice to provide the power is the thing. I think Cassadee has a much greater chance at winning now since her popularity on iTunes is so high. My DISH coworker agrees and we’ve been watching the iTunes charts to see who is selling the most recordings. The results shows aren’t as interesting since there is a lot of filler so I use my DISH Auto Hop commercial skipping feature on my Hopper so I don’t have to watch as long, and I can watch another show afterwards. That is nice since I have the X Factor to fit in each week too.
