SKYFALL BACK IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT
Week five of new James Bond flick Skyfall from Sony topped the U.S. box office this past weekend, with another $10.8 million. Comparably, that was $400,000 more than second-place Rise of the Guardians from Paramount. Next was Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 from Lionsgate at $9.2 million, followed by Lincoln from Disney at $8.9 million. Playing For Keeps, grossing just $5.8 million, marks back-to-back flops for Gerard Butler, with his Chasing Mavericks in October as his earlier disappointment.
