LOWBROW DOCUSERIES CONCEPTS VYING FOR A SPOT ON THE 2013-14 LINE-UP
Female-targeted WE tv has unveiled seven non-scripted original projects currently in development for 2013-14. The first proposed series is Bedroom Confidential, a docuseries featuring the lives and loves of five female friends. Next is Big Pippen, a Chicago-based docuseries spotlighting Larsa and Scottie Pippen, a Middle Eastern princess from a wealthy family and one of the city’s most beloved sports icons. And the other docuseries hopefuls are Chasing Ballroom, which focuses on real women who indulge in their fantasy of being dancers; Divas for Jesus, which follows a group of over-the-top sounding Christian women; Powerlist, which features successful, self-made women who balance a career and family; and Single Brides, with women across the country planning their dream weddings minus one thing: the groom.
In the dating relationship department is the proposed Shoe Whores, which gives each participating bachelorette an opportunity to either go out on a second date or keep the fabulous shoes she is wearing. That’s right…it is the age-old question: man or shoes!
