PYSCHO PREQUEL TO PREMIERE IN MARCH
Upcoming A&E scripted drama Bates Motel, which is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho, will launch on Monday, March 18 at 10 p.m. ET. Executive produced by Carlton Cuse (Lost), Bates Motel will focus on the bizarre relationship between Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) and his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga). The story will pick up after the death of Norman’s father, which leads Norma to buy a motel in the town of White Pine Bay in the hopes of a fresh start for she and her son. But life is not as idyllic as it seems in the seemingly perfect town and two do what they need to do to survive.
Bates Motel is executive produced by Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin, and also features Nestor Carbonell, Olivia Cooke, Nicola Peltz, Max Thieriot and Mike Vogel.
