NEXT NEW SCRIPTED DRAMA ON STARZ MOVES FORWARD
Production has commenced in Cape Town, South Africa on new original Starz Entertainment scripted drama Black Sails, which will debut in 2014. From executive producer Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes with Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game of Thrones) set to direct the first episode, pirate adventure Black Sails will focus on the tales of Captain Flint and his men 20 years before Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic book Treasure Island. Eight one-hour episodes have been ordered.
