Veteran Debmar Mercury game show Family Feud, hosted by Steve Harvey and now in season 14, reached a new zenith with a 5.1 rating in households for the week of December 31, 2012 (according to the Live Plus Same Day data from Nielsen). Comparably, Family Feud tied CBS Television Distribution’s Judge Judy for first overall in women 18-49 (2.2 rating) and adults 18-49 (1.9), while tying Wheel of Fortune, also from CBS, for second overall among women 25-54 (2.6) and adults 25-54 (2.2).
The surging game show, the fastest growing first-run strip in syndication, increased by 59 percent versus the comparable year-ago week.
