CLASSIC TV CAR HAS A NEW OWNER WITH MONEY TO BURN
Iconic 19 foot-long automobile The Batmobile, which was featured in camp 1966-68 ABC classic Batman, was auctioned off on Saturday for a hefty $4.2 million according to the Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Batmobile originated as a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, originally created by Ford Motor Company, and it was recently featured in the annual Comic Con conference in New York City last October.
