THE U.S. FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP ON NBC CANNOT COMPETE
CBS finished first in total viewers on this final Saturday in January care of an encore telecast of NCIS: Los Angeles and two episodes of newsmagazine 48 Hours; while ongoing UFC on Fox was enough to dominate among adults 18-49. Elsewhere, three-hours of the U.S. Figure Skating Championship on NBC was a bust with just 3.40 million viewers (#3) and a last-place 0.5 rating/2 share among adults 18-49 (according to the fast affiliate results from Nielsen). And ABC populated the evening with a repeat of the two-hour debut of The Taste and a Saturday 10 p.m. edition of 20/20.
