CBS AND FOX SHARE LOW-RATED LEADERSHIP
There was nothing of note, as usual, on this typically bland Saturday with CBS most-watched and Fox No.1 among adults 18-49 (according to the fast affiliate results from Nielsen). CBS pushed 48 Hours to 8 p.m. to make room for two-hour special NFL Honors, which averaged 3.98 million viewers and a 0.9 rating/3 share among adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m.

In season-premiere news, a one-hour edition of reality/competition American Ninja Warrior was a bust on NBC with just 2.27 million viewers (#4) and a 0.7/ 2 in the demo (#3) at 8 p.m. (which is a major decline from its prior summer run). And that led into encore telecasts of Chicago Fire and Law & Order: SVU, both from Dick Wolf, from 9-11 p.m.

Elsewhere, a repeat of ABC sitcom last Men Standing led into an encore of Tom Cruise theatrical War of the Worlds from 8:30-11 p.m. And Fox populated the evening with two episodes of tired Cops and a repeat of Kitchen Nightmares.
