FIVE CITIES PLANNED INCLUDING NEW YORK, TORONTO, SAO PAULO, AMSTERDAM AND BELFAST
Critically acclaimed HBO drama Game of Thrones will morph into a touring exhibition, the first of its kind by the cable network, that promises to “transport viewers into the breathtaking and enchanted world of Westeros.” Presented by HBO and free to the general public, the exhibition will focus on the key characters of Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon and Greyjoy from five of the noble houses. More than 70 original artifacts from seasons one and two of Game of Thrones, plus select pieces from the current season, will be featured in New York City; Toronto; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Amsterdam, North Holland; and Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Built by New Project LLC, the exhibition will include costumes, props, armor and weapons; an interactive reenactment of the epic battle of Blackwater Bay from season two; photo opportunities on a replica of the iron throne from the series; and collectible merchandise for sale.
