THE BIG BANG THEORY IN OFF-NET LEADS WEEK; MAGAZINES ON THE RISE
The rich stay rich in syndication, with the off-net airings of The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men from Warner Bros. and first-run mainstays like Wheel of Fortune, Judge Judy and Jeopardy from CBS Television Distribution topping the charts for the week of February 4. But also worth positively noting this week was the above-average rated magazine genre, which featured Entertainment Tonight from CBS (4.0 in households) at its highest rated week since the November sweep; Inside Edition (CBS: 3.4), Access Hollywood (NBCU: 1.9) and TMZ (Warner Bros.: 1.2) at season highs; and Extra from Warner Bros. ( 1.6) with its second highest-rated week of the season. The reformatted OMG! Insider from CBS, meanwhile, rose to a 1.5 — its best performance in four weeks.
Elsewhere, Dr. Phil from CBS (3.3) led the cluttered category of talk for the 18th time out of the last 21 weeks. And Katie from Disney-ABC (1.9) remained tops in freshman talk, with a 19 percent advantage over second-place Steve Harvey from NBCUniversal (1.6).

No…Big Bang Theory ranked once before, I believe. But this is the first scripted show to accomplish that.
