SECOND SEASON-ENDER AIRS TOMORROW AT 9 PM ET
WE tv has picked-up docuseries “Mary Mary” for a third series, with an order for 10 new one-hour episodes. “Mary Mary,” which follows the lives of Grammy award winning Gospel duo Erica and Tina Campbell, is averaging 5.2 million viewers this season – a rise of 16 percent from one year earlier.
“During the current season of “Mary Mary,” viewers witnessed two incredible births: Tina’s baby girl and Erica and Tina’s hit single, ‘Go Get It,’ which went on to win the duo a Grammy Award,” said Lauren Gellert, WE tv’s SVP of original production & development. “It’s exactly this type of dimensionality that WE tv spotlights in women. Erica and Tina juggle their lives with grace and style; they are amazing role models for today’s young women and a great addition to WE tv.”
Production will begin in Los Angeles in mid-March, and the current second season finale airs tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET.
