Based on four days of weighted overnight data in each of the six test markets, “The Real” from Warner Bros., hosted by Tamera Monry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai, is faring better than “Kris” from Twentieth Television, hosted by Kris Jenner. Through Thursday, “The Real” is averaging a 1.0 rating/3 share in households, which is up by 11 percent from the lead-in (0.9/ 3) and 25 percent from the July 2012 time period average (0.8/ 3). Results, to-date, among target women 25-54 (0.8/ 6) is also an improvement from both the lead-in (0.6/ 4: +33 percent) and year-ago (0.5/ 4: +60 percent) averages. And double-digit growth in both benchmarks is also visible for “The Real” in women 18-49 (0.8/ 6) and women 18-34 (0.9/ 7).
“Kris,” to-date, is also on the upside in both women 25-54 (0.8/ 5: +14 percent from both the lead-in and July 2012) and women 18-34 (0.7/ 6: +75 percent from the lead-in and 40 percent from July 2012). But results, to-date, among women 18-49 (0.6/ 4) is flat from the year-ago time period, with a 0.9/ 3 in households down by 10 percent from the lead-in (1.0/ 3) and 18 percent from the year-ago time period average (1.1/ 3).
A 0.6/ 2 in households for “Kris” yesterday (out of a 0.8/ 3), meanwhile, was a series low, while a 0.9/ 4 for “The Real” tied its opener on Monday (with growth of 29 percent from the lead-in and 80 percent from July 2012).
