NON-SCRIPTED SERIES CAN ALSO GET THE QUICK HEAVE-HO
Just two weeks in and TLC has pulled Mama’s Boys From the Bronx from the schedule, which featured five Arthur Avenue men in their 30s who still live at home and work in the area. Week-to-week, the reality-driven half-hour slipped from 808,000 to 610,000 viewers at 10 p.m., and 817,000 to 563,000 viewers at 10:30 p.m., according to Nielsen. Comparatively, that was a loss of an average 28 percent. Undercover Boss Abroad is now airing in its place.
Cast members, however, have not taken the news lightly and are urging the fans to sign a petition to save the Bronx-based reality series, according to News 12 The Bronx (http://tinyurl.com/78s7fvq).
