It was no contest on Thursday, of course, with the Miami Heat victory on The NBA Finals igniting ABC to an average 12.91 million viewers and a 5.3 rating/16 share among adults 18-49 in primetime. Overall, the game five match-up is expected to hover in the 16-million, high-6 adult 18-49 rating range.
Elsewhere, Justin Bieber had no “fever” on NBC for the second consecutive day; Canadian drama Saving Hope is a bust on NBC; non-scripted Fox duo Take Me Out and The Choice are nothing to boast about; and Breaking Pointe on The CW is still under one-million viewers. No one ever said finding an audience (particularly opposite the conclusion of The NBA Finals would be easy).
