Lifetime Television has ordered 13 episodes of a scripted drama ABC passed on, Devious Maids from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. Based on the Televisa telenovela The Disorderly Maids of the Neighborhood, the activities and dreams of four ambitious maids as they service the rich and the famous of Beverly Hills is the focus of Devious Maids. The ensemble cast includes Susan Lucci, Judy Reyes, Roselyn Sanchez, Rebecca Wisocky, Angelique Cabral, Ana Ortiz, Brianna Brown, Drew Van Acker, Brett Cullen, Grant Show, Mariana Klaveno, Edy Ganem, Tom Irwin and Dania Ramirez.

Devious Maids will launch on Lifetime in 2013.
